What makes this weight loss program different than anything else you have tried before?

Its calories in, calories out, right? Well, not really. If that were so we know that just cutting your calories and adding 20 minutes of walking would cause you to lose weight. Many of us have found that that is a formula that does not produce results. In fact, I've had people tell me that they can actually gain weight on a low calorie diet. You might be one of those people, I was!

So what's the answer? Well, in case you haven't noticed there are new theories cropping up about weight loss almost monthly. Some of the theories are really great but nothing seems to work for everyone and that is why this program is different.

What is causing your metabolism to be so slow? Some of the latest research indicates that inflammation( generalized) is a huge factor in obesity and until you eliminate the cause of the inflammation you will continue to struggle with weight and usually fatigue, maybe some depression and anxiety, not to mention diabetes or blood sugar problems, aches and pains and a host of other conditions. In the weight loss program we design specifically for you, we will be testing you for inflammation and once we find the cause eliminating it. Ongoing inflammation will keep your metabolism perpermanently stalled!

What causes inflammation? Food allergies for one. We need to take a hard look at the types of foods you are eating and the effect they are having on your weight. Something that your sister can eat and not gain an ounce will make you gain three pounds of water weight over night.

Cortisol also causes inflammation. We may test to see what your cortisol level is and correct that. Are you sleeping well? Do you know if you are not sleeping you may never lose weight? When your metabolism is working at top speed your body is designed to lose weight WHILE YOU SLEEP! That's a scientific fact. So if you're not sleeping well, you are fighting an uphill battle trying to lose weight!

We want to know if your thyroid is operating at maximum. People are always telling me that they have been told that their thyroid is fine but if I do the additional testing I often find that their thyroid is UNDER functioning! We will be testing your thyroid and making sure it is running at top speed so that your metabolism is burning up calories like they are rocket fuel!

Insulin and glucose levels are very important when you are trying to lose weight. We need to find out what your hormone levels are and get them straightened out. Too much insulin or glucose in your blood and forget about it, you're never going to lose weight!
